Cable Management

Jonathan Engineered Solutions offers one, two, and three-armed solutions to better organize your leads and cables, in addition to baskets and small routing trays.  Available in aluminum, stainless, and carbon steel, our cable management systems are as flexible as the cables they support and are designed to create maximum efficiency behind your enclosures.

Custom Trays and Tray Assembly

Jonathan has standard designs available for 1U and 2U trays, with solid or laser routed surfaces.  The standard 1U assembly comes with a set of 340 series slides with lock open, has quick disconnect removal and assembly, and have adjustable brackets attached.  Our 2U assembly comes standard with 370 series slides which lock open, a quick disconnect feature, and have adjustable brackets attached.

Jonathan is also extremely familiar with custom assemblies.  In fact, our customers frequently require us to modify standard designs to accommodate unique applications.  We have designed and manufactured many different rotating and pivoting tray solutions for the largest Defense manufacturers in the world looking for a reliable supplier of premium rack-mounting hardware.

Fixed Mounting

Hard mounting a chassis to the rack rail leaves the unit improperly supported for more rugged application. This often leads to frequent replacement, which requires more labor and more frustration.  The TIG and TFB series from JES are the perfect replacements for any application.  The TIG Insertion Guide is secure and functional, providing robust support for the entire length of the chassis, and features different shock and vibe reduction features to isolate the unit.

The TFB Fixed Bracket features our tool-less technology: tri-stage, retractable mounting pins that can accommodate square, round, and tapped mounting holes, in a single bracket for a rapid install and immediate support.

Linear Motion

The core of the Jonathan Engineered Solutions product line is, as it has been for over 60 years, dedicated to linear motion excellence.  Jonathan’s profiles are available in aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel, available with features such as tool-less brackets, shock and vibration isolation, and noise reduction.  With slides proven to handle over 1100lbs at a proven 10,000 cycles, the linear motion product line can handle the vast landscape of light duty to rugged military applications that one can find around the globe.  Friction or ball-bearing, roller or fixed, JES has engineers around the country who can provide assistance beginning from your project’s inception until its delivery.
